JOIN US ON THE ANNIVERSARY OF D-DAY

FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH HEBRON

3000 E. HEBRON PKWY, CARROLLTON

ALL WELCOME!

On June 6, 1944, the largest naval/ground invasion in military history
was launched. Codenamed “Operation Overlord”, 156,000 American,
British and Canadian forces (along with 6,900 ships & landing vessels
and 2,400 aircraft) landed on five beaches along a 50-mile stretch of
the heavily fortified coast of Normandy, France. This was the
beginning of the end of the war in Europe.

Join us on the anniversary of D-Day, Sunday, June 6, 5:00pm, at FBC
Hebron as we ‘re-visit’ the Normandy invasions that instigated the
liberation of Europe from the Nazis. With a desire to not forget those
Allied forces who lost their lives on D-Day, Dwayne Lee, an avid
historian & photographer, has given over 100 presentations and will be
our guest.
